Kumrat Valley is a most famous valley in Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. This is one of the charming valley of Pakistan. Every year thousands of local and foreign tourists from different areas visit Kumrat Valley and enjoy its cool weather and greenery. Kumrat is covered with romantic forests, foggy mounds, snow clad mountains and gushing Panjkora river. This valley is secure to visit any time. Mostly people visit this place from April to November.
Kumrat Valley is located in the foothills of Hindukush Mountains and near to Swat region. The range of weather is 20 to 25 in summer. While in winter the temperature is very low due to snowfall. The main feature of Kumrat Valley is the waterfalls and streams. You can camp there, but if you are not comfortable with camping then there are some hotels and camps to stay. Kumrat is newly discovered area for tourist to visit. This valley will provide rock climbing, mountaineering and trekking. You can hire a camp for hiking to Katora Lake. Jeep track is used to travel between Utror and Thall in Kumrat. This valley is the last border of Dir Kohistan. It has six villages Kalkot, Thall, Lamoti, Barikot, Biyar and Patrak. Every year number of tourist is increasing. Panjkora River is running through this valley.

To visit this place, you should have to reach through Dir Chitral Road. In Kumrat valley there is no standard hotel for stay.
